The truth is out

Voting machine results speak for themselves.

It’s democratic, it’s fast and it reveals EPTDA members’ true opinion on topical things. The popular Voting Machines were in full use for the second time during the Annual Convention in Monaco. This time the on-the-spot electronic survey gathered convention delegates’ opinion on business best practices, market intelligence and EPTDA’s new initiatives. The Required information Change Process (RICP), one of EPTDA’s recent initiatives, was put to the test during the educational session of the convention. Distributors and manufacturers respectively were asked how the communication of price and format changes was managed by manufacturers. Private labelling – one of EPTDA’s hot potatoes - was also at stake in that session as well as EPTDA’s market intelligence surveys and reports. The delegates voted “identifying trends of the PT industry” as being the most valuable market intelligence benefit for them. But the questions everyone were waiting for dealt with ELI - EPTDA Learning Institute initiative. And the result: a large majority of the delegates pushed the green button to welcome the new membership benefit on board. Based on the feedback, EPTDA will continue to develop the question selection process and use the Voting Machines even more efficiently in its coming Annual Convention meetings. You’ll find all the Voting Machine questions and delegates answers on the EPTDA website. FACT BOX: Have your say - here’s how the Voting Machine’s work The main aim behind Voting Machine is to collect valuable information from EPTDA members using simple, democratic and objective method. This helps to develop the as sociation to define and serve the needs & wishes of its members and the entire PT/MC industry. Each delegate uses his/her own electronic voting machine and answers one by one the questions which are displayed on the screen. The results are ready in seconds after the vote – visible on the screen for everyone to see, debate and develop the thoughts further.
