Take a sneak peek at EPTDA’s 10th Anniversary Year. 2008 will see EPTDA’s new visual identity and new logo, first ever Membership Directory, the creation of association’s new strategy, Executive Development Conference and All Committees’ Days in Rome. The website will also get a facelift, we will develop the EU monitoring further - and of course celebrate the 10th Anniversary Annual Convention in Brussels. All this and much more is waiting for you just around the corner!
The unveiling of EPTDA’s new logo and visual identity on January 1st opens association’s 10th Anniversary Year officially. The stylish, forwardlooking and dynamic new logo symbolizes EPTDA’s excellent cooperation with its affiliate organisation PTDA and the colour scheme goes hand in hand with the quality connotations associated with EPTDA members.
New focus points for EPTDA
January is also the time for EPTDA’s strategic planning session Executive Strategic Retreat. This is the second time in EPTDA’s history that association’s leaders will determine our direction and focus points in the future. How can EPTDA support its members even better in the future? What do the members truly need? And how to demonstrate the difference between a non-member and member company in terms of performance and overall success? The Board and the Committee and Council Chairs will put their heads together in Brussels between 31st of January and 2nd of February.
The whole year will be full of Anniversary Specials for the members. EPTDA will recognise its founding members, past presidents and loyal supporters - without the volunteers’ and members’active contribution we would not be here today. In addition, the association will be all ears for ITS members. By introducing a new Convention online survey and developing the Voting Machine system even further, we encourage everyone to have their say.
The pinnacle of directories
For the first time in EPTDA history, the association will also publish its very own Membership Directory. Designed specifically for the PT/MC industry, the Directory offers a comprehensive listing of all EPTDA members, their products, services, contact names and addresses. It sets a whole new standard for the hard copy membership directories with cutting edge layout, journalistic content and special features. In addition, the Directory features a chronicle about the association’s past highlighting EPTDA’s achievements and leaders. EPTDA Members will receive the Directory free of charge - as a valuable and truly useful membership benefit. The data collection will start in December and the Directory is yours in June 2008!

Finding answer to members learning needs
The results of the Voting Machine indicated clearly that there is a need for a tailor-made professional learning initiative. Learning sessions could tackle topical issues such as employee motivation and doing business with Russia, give introduction to the EU, and enhance your work/life balance and personal development. The learning initiative will be further discussed and developed by the EPTDA Leaders. EPTDA will also continue to develop further many on-going initiatives such as the EU monitoring and ethical road map to offer more tangible benefits for the members.
Brussels - the centre of attention
After amazing Annual Conventions in Barcelona, Prague, Vienna and Monaco, EPTDA heads for the hub. In 2008 the Annual Convention is held in the very heart of Europe - Brussels. The dynamic, charming and multicultural city is also the home for European Union’s institutions and thousands of global companies, associations and organisations. In other words, Brussels is the European centre of attention. The annual gathering in Brussels gives EPTDA’s member companies a unique opportunity to combine their own business meetings and sessions with the Convention. The theme of the Anniversary year’s main event is "Creating Value Together". On one hand the theme reminds us that no company is an island and we can all learn from each other and on the other hand the theme symbolises the common European
market, values and business environment. Pencil in the date already into your calendar!
